I included my first rough sketch in the gif animation. It took a few tries to get to the final composition. This is a huge departure from everything I have done in the past. I am glad I was up to the challenge.

An unusual subject but nonetheless as always a masterful achievement. Perhaps the locomotive should be a separate work - it is truly wonderful! Bravo!

I agree. The locomotive can be separate. It was very labor-intensive to paint it.

The train is beautifully done. A labour-intensive deviation from you? Surely you jest
